Yes. They can be a bit different to drive. I've known of several experienced drivers, who've been driving the new faster ones on the road, and accidentally did a 180.

A high schooler drove that to school. I'm impressed with some of these farm and ranch kids. I think 4H and FFA are great programs.

Today .. another ice+snow storm. windy.

i hope to drive to Indianapolis Saturday, to my uncle’s funeral.
i’m optimistic. weather reports indicate there should be time to dig out, have roads clear.

hopefully the power will stay on. no furnace problems. my usual winter wishes.

Today .. i decide whether to drive to Indiana for my uncle’s funeral service.
Because of weather, ^^^ not sure of road conditions, and my older car, i hesitate.

It’s cold, not below zero F., sunny. not a bad winter day. If roads are good.
not horribly windy, my pet bugaboo.

i have about 2 hours to decide. i’m nervous.
i try to avoid unnecessary hazards. i don’t want to get into situations where i have to bother people.

Decision time.

Well. i messed up.
i forgot Indiana is 1 hour ahead.

i called the funeral home and learned the family gathering time is before the brief service, then people usually leave after.
even if i leave this moment, i might not make it. not like family funerals in the past, with lots of family time.

i’m sad.

i’ll call my aunt later to plan a visit. not the same. but important. i hope it goes well for her. dear one she is.
