A pretty low percentage of current posters knows her now. When she opens the door and looks around, the faces she sees are new and the looks she gets are mostly blank. People say polite things, and smile with their lips, but their eyes hold no knowing.
Her eyes and lips probably mirror theirs.

It is her fault, and she can't fix it. Not quickly, at least, and the one thing she doesn't have is time. She steps out quietly and closes the door behind her.
They are all interesting people, she thinks to herself. Most of them, anyway. And she would like them if she knew them.
