Several years later, she’s been “radicalized”, attending No Kings protests. I’m not on Facebook but I’ve had 3 people tell me their concern of her posts on FB. She has a temper and a hatred for Trump that actually scares me. Although I have not discussed any of my views with her, she recently told me (February)that until I cut my ties with Trump, we cannot have a relationship. What??? I have no “ties”! She is clueless what I think as I don’t post anywhere but here.
This influence by these organizers is on purpose. Mom having followed politics close for 65 years was ALWAYS aware of how the communist vowed to take over America @without firing a shot” . It’s funny as she sees how it’s working “on people” .
A customer & brother in the Lord said the same thing as Mom about it on Saturday morning- remembering the threat & how it would “quietly seep in”. By the way one of the ways communism attempts to work its way in is dividing families. I am hearing from other parents who have strangely been “cut off” by children that are too young to know the difference & the threats decades ago slowly come to pass.

I’m honestly frightened at my daughter’s change.
My son in law is timid, he texts me to please pray for my granddaughter (12). Her mother is now an “activist”
I never was, our conversations while she grew up was infrequently about politics. I’m literally very concerned. They said the shooter became “radicalized “.
Even the left said they need to tone down the rhetoric.

It's being funded by private contributions which is entirely legitimate. Many things like this have been built by private money, instead of going into yet more debt.

If Congress wants to pass laws to change how the White House is handled, they certainly could.

I'm pretty sure that procedure is only when Congress is funding it. That ballroom is being built with private donations.

of note, since this was a private and not a government function, even if such a ballroom existed, this was likely not to have been there. Private functions generally don't take place in government property.
