As I am winding things up at work here with my final job which is sending out Christmas greetings to the various organisations I am privileged to work with I thought of you people.
I want to thank each of you for the ways that you have challenged my thoughts and ideas again this year. I feel like this is a safe place for me to vent and flesh out some of my ideas and I certainly also feel it is a place where my ideas will be challenged and sharpened and I really appreciate that.
Thank you in particular for Robert and his willingness to host this site.
I want to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas. As we collectively remember the miracle of him coming as a babe, as a man and yet being totally God among us, may each of us be an instrument of helping to spread that joy and peace and hope that he brought, to our communities.
Blessings!

Re: Merry Christmas
Joy to the world, the Lord is come / Calvary Mennonite
Joy to the world
Joy to the world
Joy to the world, the Lord is come
Let earth receive her King
Let every heart prepare Him room
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven and nature sing
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing
Joy to the world
Joy to the world
Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy
Joy to the world, now we sing
Let the earth receive her king
Joy to the world, now we sing
Let the angel voices ring
Joy to the world, now we sing
Let men their songs employ
Joy to the world, now we sing
Repeat the sounding joy
Oh oh
He rules the world with truth and grace
And makes the nations prove
The light of His righteousness
And wonders of His love
And wonders of His love
And wonders of His love
And wonders, wonders, of His love
And wonders, wonders, of His love
Joy to the world, now we sing
Let the earth receive her king
Joy to the world, now we sing
Let the angel voices ring

Another rendition, hopefully, with correct credits:
"Joy to the world" - Lyrics: Isaac Watts (1719) / Music: Lowel Mason (1839)
