Speaking of fundamental attribution errors…
I’m simply pointing out there’s no evidence of that one way or another.

There was a mad rush here to try to blame unvaccinated people, which reminded me very much of the 2022 era. It was propaganda then, and it’s propaganda now.

Incidentally support for vaccines in the plain community is at an all time low. Things like this don’t improve support for it.
I think it’s really sad that COVID and RFK have caused so many to welcome measles back into the community.

Nobody has “welcomed measles back”.

What has happened is the narrative around vaccines has been questioned. Pushing fake, unreliable “vaccines” during COVID didn’t help, along with the threats towards those who didn’t want to comply.

Ok, maybe Covid contributed, but it's my understanding that the anti-vax movement was starting to percolate and agitate before Covid?
Also, what I find strange is how the confusions around Covid and its vaccine etc get conflated and extended and even mixed up in other vaccines for completely different diseases and even age groups(with years and years of proven science, effectiveness, etc. That muddying it up together into one big Anti-Vax! doesn't make sense to me...

What is difficult about parsing them out into separate buckets, in a reasonable, analytical way? Why attack them all because of the uncertainties around 1? (It's kind of like labeling every republican a racist... or every plain anabaptist as no-nothing fundamentalists... or every dem as a leftist/communist...)
Bucket 1 - Standard set of childhood vaccines used and generally welcomed the world over = Settled (and ethical btw), time-proven, bordering on miraculous (God's grace!) vaccines for various horrific past maladies (measles, polio, small pox, etc..) (But I'm sure there are doctors and scientists STILL studying/testing even these vaccines... looking for even better outcomes; it's what curious, not epistemically-closed people do, non-fatalistic-it's-all-going-burn-anyways people do...)
Bucket 2 - Covid = still working it out, some unknowns, needs more research, etc... I can grant the sense of being a little skeptical. Not necessarily a bad thing).

Why conflate it all together? They really are not all alike...as are most things in life.

A Confessing Church would acknowledge the inescapable realities of sin and injustice in every human institution, including every political party. It would wholeheartedly reject any suggestion that one party or movement is the party of God. Paul D Miller

God’s grace does not come to us through using live tissue from aborted babies, and using aborted baby parts isn’t ethical either.

All I ask for is one thing: vaccines not developed, produced, and tested using live aborted baby tissue. I don’t think I’m asking for the moon here. And, secondly, I ask that we not be forced to use vaccines made from aborted baby parts.

No one welcomed the measles. It is true there were anti-vaxers around before covid. But the method covid was handled greatly increased the distrust of the CDC and other government health agencies. Here in Pa. we had a health secretary who was a man turned into a woman, and we were supposed to believe him/her when he/she told us to follow the science.

You keep saying this as if it was fact. Now, let's see the evidence.

What do you think fetal stem cells are? Where do you think they come from?

It’s not exactly in dispute that they’re used, how they’re used, and what they’re used for.
