Are attacks on Iran increasing in intensity and frequency as the Secretary of War claims?

As was reported in the Military Times, “in the first week alone, the U.S. and Israel struck more than 3,000 targets across Iran while Tehran fired over 500 ballistic missiles and nearly 2,000 drones at U.S. bases and Israeli cities across 12 countries, burning through over 800 Patriot interceptor missiles in three days — more than Ukraine received from allies throughout four years of war.”

That is a lot of interceptors. Possibly as many as 2400 used by the US and its allies.

After Trump, I doubt that we will ever see again a US President who intentionally issues social media posts that clearly do not have even basic vetting by public relations staff.

I remember having difficulty myself in grade school with the spelling of which - witch? whitch? Wich?

I remember when the white house took away the blackberry from newly elected president Obama because it was considered dangerous and that was text only. I think we forget how unhinged this situation truly is.

Is it somehow better to have PR staff figuring out how to lie to us?

But having people check the facts can be helpful for telling the truth. And sometimes the ability to spell and connect to basic facts does help credibility.

1. Are we discussing the topic? Good.
2. Are we going around and around in a fight? Let's stop doing that.
3. Is there some serious wrongdoing or relational injury? Let's address that, probably not in public and certainly not for show.

By "ability to spell", do you mean "run it through AI first"?

And it is wise to portion out decision making so that it flows through more than one person.
