I read and listen to a lot of different sources and like anyone else, I filter it through my own belief set. I see a lot of pr tactics instead of facts and I try to keep that in mind because news sources are in business to get people to buy their news.

Some of most hateful rhetoric I've seen in my lifetime came from the Clintons and reported through CNN. Then there's the other sources such as social media like FB. I live in an area that votes conservative and was a part of the local town and county FB groups to keep up with local events. There were so many out of town trolls on the local FB groups trying push the Democrat agenda it was disheartening. It was frustrating to see all the fake news being pushed by them so I finally just quit FB altogether and joined the local news e-blast groups to keep up with the community that way.

For the past couple of years I get the 1440 newsletter that bills itself as an "unbiased news source so you can form your own conclusions". So far it seems to be doing what they say they want it to do.
