Hi Robert,

Big thanks from all of us for your work cleaning up the site.
Your efforts are much appreciated.
I registered in 2018, and have posted 100 times.
Somehow my log-in survived.

I suggest that we all take a 2-month sabbatical to allow Robert and the mods to do some more site cleaning.
Great time to "fast" from posting. Especially with the trolling, tempers and tantrums associated with this election season.
This could allow us more time for prayer and the peaceful building of the Kingdom of Jesus.
So easy to get distracted by our secondary (American, Canadian, etc) citizenships.

We are planning a neighborhood prayer meeting at our house on Tuesday evening, November 5.
1 Timothy 2:1-6 will be the theme of the prayer.

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.
2 Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.
3 This is good and pleases God our Savior,
4 who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.
5 For,
There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. 6 He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone.
This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.

PS...
If anyone wants to join us at the house, PM me, and I'll send you directions.
This is assuming the forum PM system is working....
and if it is not working - no problem.... perhaps, you should simply organize a prayer meeting in your own neighborhood

All for Jesus,
Dan

The pestilence was stayed at the Jebusite threshingfloor of June 2019. You actually registered after that, and thus survived.

Thank you OJ.
You are so right.
Time for me to get cataract surgery, or pay better attention to my own profile!

Don’t hesitate to have cataract surgery. Be grateful for today’s greatly improved methods.

i was a young child as i watched my mother care for her mother after cataract surgery. A gruesome experience, no disposable sterile bandages. My mother’s surgery was much improved, mine was a cakewalk by comparison in 2015. Techniques and materials are so improved. We take so much for granted.

prayers for a positive experience and outcome.

i’m perfectly comfortable with an older, wiser, more docile Trump.

On my end, or the forum in general?

Forum limit most likely has been reached. There are not individual limits. I enlarged it. Try again.
