I hope who he is gets more than minimum wage.
C: When you pay him every month, who gets the money?
A: Every dollar of it. And why not, the man's entitled to it.
C: Who is?
A: Yes.

When emotions run high, distortions can be expected. Best to keep a cool head.
i think of these types of interactions as parallel conversations. i find comic relief in them.ohio jones wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2024 5:54 pmI hope who he is gets more than minimum wage.

Maybe also YouTube?
It’s in the same category. It’s a relatively new “guilty sin” for me, i suppose due to eliminating TV, no radio, etc.
Just a quick side question. It will be a little off topic, but maybe not too far.
The testimony in this case shows Trump hanging around the sleaziest possible people, paying hush money to porn stars to help his campaign, disguising those payments to hide their true intent, and threatening people right and left, resulting in death threats to some of them. His behavior shows utter scorn for the legal process. Suppose we treat Trump like any other person - there's a lot to dislike here, isn't there?Robert wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 8:24 amJust a quick side question. We know several so really dislike Trump. My honest question is do you dislike him as a person, or dislike the policies he put into place during his presidency? It could be both and that is ok. Just wondering if it the person or the policy that several of you find disliking/distasteful. If it is the policies, please BRIEFLY share which ones that you most dislike.
I would say it is a combination.Robert wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 8:24 amJust a quick side question. It will be a little off topic, but maybe not too far.

Beings everything you listed would be applicable to various past presidents and even the current president.Bootstrap wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2024 11:16 am

I don't like that. I find it distasteful. I think it tells us everything we need to know about his character and his dishonesty. Not because it's Trump. I don't understand it when people suggest that's no big deal, or that people are only bothered because they don't like Trump. But of course, that's the story Trump promotes on the campaign trail to divert attention from all of this.
No need to turn to other examples that are not the topic of this thread. His character, his dishonesty, his willingness to destroy people's lives for his personal gain, his blatant immorality ... that's all pretty clear in this topic. His constant victimhood claims - and claims of the right to retribution - whenever the things he does come to light. The way he channels this into political division where everything revolves around Trump and that is the dividing line between people. Suppose we treat Trump like any other politician caught in wrongdoing - there's a lot to dislike here, isn't there?
We can discuss other places that comes out in other threads.
Basically he drives the car but officially you crash it.
