I have fond memories of milk based corn soup with no chicken, is that similar to the PS version with chicken?

If the shoe fits, wear it. If it doesn't fit, leave it on the shelf.
It's my old username from Mennodiscuss.

While I don’t consider myself an expert here, I believe “Don’t be stupid” would be a more accurate translation.Grace wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 6:27 am"seinetsodumm".....All so dumb.sojourner wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 10:46 pmAnyone able to decipher this username?seinetsodumm wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 10:24 pm

Re: "Traditional Pennsylvania Dutch" Foods?
It could mean "stupid". But in PA Dutch, "so dumm" is "so dumb"

Re: "Traditional Pennsylvania Dutch" Foods?
Wife: may be a “dumb” question, but would German/Pennsylvania Dutch be similar to English, in having more than one meaning for the word dumb? I guess I always assumed that English just re-allocated a word used for mute people, but I suppose it might be the other way around, since the German also uses that for people lacking in common sense.Grace wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 1:44 pmIt could mean "stupid".
