What is the most concerning is how they claimed the stuff with Hunter and Ashley's diary wasn't true, when it actually was. It points to a complete lack of integrity. If they can't tell the truth about something like that, how can they be trusted on anything else?

Exactly. Just like the bigger problem with Trump is not that he paid off porn stars. We all know this and more is true. The idea that he denies the payoff happened is just as bad or worse.

It is incredible that Trump and Biden are the best the United States of America has to offer in terms of presidential leadership.

There are plenty of Trump threads if you want to complain about Trump.

Perhaps it's worth noting that the scripture instructs us to pray for those who are in authority, but says nothing about those who are campaigning to be in authority. It's a good idea to pray for them as well, but not a specific command.
Actually that is incorrect.

In 1 Timothy 2 verse 2 scripture first tells us to pray for all men:
1 Timothy 2
2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
Then it mentions kings and authority afterward:
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
I feel like I'm back in a "God and country" church whenever Mennonites miss the all men part... rofl

There might be a distinction between specific commands and general commands, though.

Have you prayed for Daniel Noboa today?

Who is the "they" you are talking about here?

This thread is about President Biden. What untrue things has he said about Ashley Biden's diary?

“The best” is not a factor. Very few are willing to even consider subjecting themselves to the possibility.
The best men have better opportunities, in every way; being POTUS is not very appealing. It’s restrictive and confining.
The pay .. meh.

The best do not bother to apply.

Maybe “we” get what “we” deserve. :-|

I cannot speak for Josh, but when I refer to "they", I am referring to Biden and all his enablers.

Last week Biden had an interview with Erin Burnett from a main stream media outlet. He pushed the lie that inflation was at 9% when he came into office, and later repeated that lie on another occasion. Inflation was at 1.5% when he came into office. It was only later under his administration that it went up to 9%. When the Press Secretary was asked about Biden's blatant lie, yesterday at the White House press briefing, she somehow in a round about way supported that lie. One has to wonder if they think Americans are to stupid to know the truth. Do thy think for one minute that the claims Biden makes, won't be fact checked?

Yesterday Biden finally agreed to debate Trump. He said he will come to the debate in "his plane", and he plans to keep "his plane". That comment drew fire on Twitter, (X) because Air Force One is owned by the Presidential Airlift Group and is paid for by the hard working tax payers. And as soon as Biden leaves office that plane will be delegated to the next president. One has to wonder why he would say something weird like that, in light of the fact that Trump does have a plane, that he owns and isn't paid for by the tax payers.

Yesterday Biden delivered remarks at the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service at the US Capitol. One of his lies comments was “When my son Beau, who spent a year in Iraq, came home with stage four glioblastoma and was gonna die”.

All except Beau Biden came home from Iraq in September 2009. And was diagnosed with brain cancer four years later in 2013.

Biden's constant regurgitating of his sons death for some imagined political gain shows that he has no self respect, no integrity and no shame.
