Interesting, down to earth. (i believe the source is in Canada)
Probably a reflection on what needs to be remedied in government education, Pre-K through college.

Our pharmacist said this today when my 65 yr old coworker asked about the new Covid vaccine:

He flat out told ChHe does not recommend it for HIM. He said he is healthy, and men are getting heart issues! He said this new one is NEW so they don't know detrimental affects. He said he wouldn't recommend it for healthy people. I told him I was flying out to see my 86 yr old Mom w/asthma. He recommended you get it, but not me. He said vaxxed or not people get it. He said wearing masks has weakened the populations immune system which RSV then has risen, so he said it will take awhile for peoples immune system to come back to where they were before masking so much. I thanked him for his advice as I was worried, seemed God's thing for him to pop in break room & explain all this to us.

For whatever it's worth.

Since then my mom texted me that she just got back from her doctor's visit. She said her doctor recommended she not get this vaccine.

Excellent article. I mostly agree with the conclusion.
There’s another way of thinking about science, one that might flourish as America’s most recognizable scientist hangs up his lab coat. We should see science as something people do: as a way of solving problems, a project that does not just‌ describe the world but brashly wants to change it. A science that people will follow must lead. If in the next pandemic we want something else from our public health leaders — to save lives and not tear the country apart in the process — we must learn to see science as a vehicle, not a dodge, for human agency: something we are right to make demands of, right at times to get angry at, whose terrible failures it must own along with its triumphs.

When “science” claims that humans came from monkeys*, a man can actually be a woman, and that an unborn baby isn’t a baby, many people become very sceptical of “science” being employed as a vehicle to force religious, political, and social changes.

* Yes, I’m aware the official evolutionary family tree is that humans and monkeys evolved from some yet-to-ever-be-found prehistoric proto-primate.

Science doesn't actually claim any of those things.

No, it doesn't seem that the Mayo Clinic's stance has changed.

I don't know who put together that snippet that you are forwarding. But they are being deceptive.

The first quote is simply taken from an index of drugs that Mayo Clinic is reposting on their online reference library that simply repeats the drug manufacturer's descriptions verbatim. There are thousands of drugs listed in that index. If you zoom out you can see this. It is simply the official drug description provided by the manufacturer and not the Mayo Clinic: https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supple ... g-20064216

All of the drug descriptions in their online index of pharmaceuticals are simply the pharmacological descriptions provided by manufacturers and not anything written by Mayo Clinic.

And if you click through to Merative Micromedex link you find this disclaimer:

Meanwhile, in its actual discussion of COVID therapies on the Mayo Clinic still says this: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-con ... q-20485627
