In terms of dollars. Our richest American, Elon Musk is already more than 1/4 of the way to becoming the world's first trillionaire. As of January 2022 his net worth is an estimated $268 billion. Think about that for a moment. In terms of GDP that would make him the world's 41st largest country, slotted in between Chile ($277 billion) and Finland ($252 billion).
And in other news San Francisco and New York city are 2,906 miles apart. In terms of speed, this would make them the world's fastest land vehicle.

I don't know how they do it where you live, but where I come from GDP is not a measure of net worth.

We may not have to slog through Congress’ economic and policy ineptness:

it strikes me as beyond odd how DJT managed to prevent military conflict, something not done before his term nor after.

Why would the US Congress prohibit money being spent on US border security
and then allocate funds for some foreign countries' border security?

Van Hall / LFR Family / PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS NOT TRUE! / 18min

^^Van Hall is “just a guy” with a YouTube following, living in D.C., formerly a Democrat, with lots of opinions and questions.
i appreciate his general questioning approach, not claiming to know everything and/or have all the answers.
i expect his views reflect many “out there” and not feeling control over (much, at all).

As for me, i believe, the more Congress spends, the worse life will become for ordinary law-abiding, tax-paying, U.S. legal citizens.
Elected and appointed “representatives” appear to have lost sight of their basic job descriptions.

“Pirate” is not it. 🏴‍☠️ 🏴‍☠️ 🏴‍☠️ (proper flag to fly over Congress?!)

When the government runs deficits and the national debt is $28 trillion,
it is nonexistant money.
For those paying attention: :(
Above, Van Hall is asking, “WHERE ARE THE ADULTS IN THE ROOM?!” The drunk and corrupt are at the wheel.

Even $1 “single” TRILLION, in the hands of Congress, is their cue: NO LIMITS. SPEND AWAY!!

When people start talking about big numbers, it takes a while for me to figure out what they mean by "trillion", "quadrillion", "sextillion", and the like. Anyone who has been to high school knows about exponents and "scientific notation". People should just say "3 x 10⁹" ("3 times 10 to the 9th"). Unfortunately, computers don't have a simple way of typing larger exponents that I know of, so you have to write "4 x 10^15".

Have you viewed the P.1 video, 9min, that attempts to describe the magnitude of 1 single trillion dollars?

i would like if schumer/mccarthy would get together to describe to American taxpayers similar, along with their plans on how they intend to manage spending of 1 single trillion dollars in “taxpayer” “funny money” (the phrase used in Victor David Hanson’s video just above).

i question the ability of any gov entity to effectively oversee 1 trillion dollars of Other Peoole’s Money/Debt.
Any government on earth.

i don’t believe they’re up to the task, instead counting on everyone to ignore.
They throw out enough breadcrumbs in attempt to keep people hooked+silent. Also, with false hope that “with THAT much spending,” many problems will be FIXED.”

Because they know, conscientious people would do untold good with that kind of cash.
