Jesus notes a difference between demon-inflicted conditions and sickness:

Mark 16:16-18
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Anybody who wants you to pay them for working in the spirit is not working in the spirit.
Oh, I agree. I'm just pointing out that in my very limited personal experience on this topic the subject of there was very definitely overlap between faith healing and casting out of demons. Or to put it another way, a belief that sickness was caused by demons or evil spirits not biology.
I don't agree that sickness is a purely biological thing every time. By Scripture we have several examples of people healed of sickness by casting out demons. Also we have several examples of people being healed of sickness with no demons involved.
I also do not believe that verse is well understood as snake handling for one is not what it means, but rather what Paul had happen would be my perception. I do not presume on God healing, although He is perfectly capable of it. Too many have followed that path and died. I do not believe that its simply they lacked faith to get healed as though God was a windup toy they forgot to crank far enough.

In terms of the whole fetal cell aspect, I am a faith healer now, but my healing is conditional on God's will, not only on my faith.

Some guy came uninvited to my Grampas home one day to cast out his demons.

I can't get behind the whole snake-handling thing. They've let the Satan lead them to the top of the Temple, but they've jumped off. IOW's they've tempted God.

It's good to get the Church to anoint you and lay hands on you in prayer, but it depends on faith. Think of the Centurion who said he wasn't good enough to have Christ in his house, but that if Christ willed it so, it would be so.

I think "mental illness" is demon possession. Not that there can't be real, physical brain-damage. But the "chemical imbalance" model is proving insufficient. The imbalance is an effect, not the cause.

Well, not always possession. There's also oppression, which is the most common form. Posession is when the human being has absolutely no control over themselves.
