There are a lot of sightings, many by reputable people. There are also contactees. If I listen to their stories, my discernment is that it is clearly demonic. I expect that may be what's behind many other sightings that can't easily be explained naturally without extraterrestrials.

Someone pointed out people don't see Bigfoot since everyone carries camera phones. I wonder if UFO sightings will follow a similar trajectory.

UFOs only seem to be sighted in Western countries, despite the entire world being blanketed in camera phones.

I feel like we recently had a conversation about UFOs on this forum.

The fermi paradox if it's most likely that life exists outside the earth why we don't have discovered yet ?

There is a lot in common with gray aliens and ufo abductions and the fae which in medieval times were seen as beings that had supernatural powers lived in an unseen realm and were not demons or angels could be good and bad and were not effected in the same way as demons crosses or holy water. The stories say that nordic aliens are not Christian yet hate the grays and it seems Jesus says a house divided cannot stand. So I do not think either of these being types are demons. I will point out that calling on Jesus' name stops abductions sometimes that they can be summoned or channeled and that they seem to give false prophecies and people more involved in the occult tend to see them. I have had what appear to be encounters myself that were deemed mental illness(To be fair I was diagnosed before this started happening), no one sees or hears them but me, they are usually around just as I wake up they haven't taken me anywhere but crosses, holy water did not work, calling on Jesus if it works at least is always late on effecting them as if it doesn't effect them at all, but eventually they always disappear into some higher unseen dimension of space that is inaccessible to me and haven't been able to do me any harm but frightening me. I've talked about this loosely before on another thread. I do not want to put highly personal details of situation much further than this though. I read in a catholic text on spiritual warfare that holy water and crosses or imperative prayers(Casting them out in the name and blood of Jesus) working is dependent on how righteous the person using them is. I am working on getting closer to God but as it stands now I have a long way to go before I consider myself at all righteous so maybe that is it. Whether its mental illness or something real God is protecting me from it doing anymore than screwing with my head so to speak. I hope the board will be kind enough to spare me some of the jokes, my family makes enough as it is.

We don’t have the technology yet to discern living organisms from many light years distant. We can barely discern shadows of planets at that distance. And we can only discern them in the very closest tiny corner of our own Milky Way Galaxy. Which is only one galaxy out possibly up to 2 trillion galaxies in the universe.

Also the further away we look the further into the past we are looking. The closest nearest galaxy to us is the Andromeda galaxy. When we look at it in the night sky we are looking 2.5 million years into the past since it is 2.5 million light years away.
