MENNONITE FLASH MOB at Good's Store (where else?).

saw them in concert last night over in chambersburg, PA. extremely well done!

So what are the chances that someone from Alberta would recognize someone else from Alberta shopping in a store in PA on a Facebook posting? I watched those parts twice to make sure.

This was sent to me a couple of hours ago in a text message from a friend. The singing is fantastic!!!! You know they have a talent when it sounds that good in the ugly acoustics of a Dept store.

A "flash mob" is pretty much how street meetings w/ singing groups work. You just pick a place (usually a closed storefront), assembly quickly, and start singing. Since there is no amplification, there isn't a need to try to get permits or anything like that.

In order to stake out a space, sometimes it's a good idea to all get out of the van quickly, assemble, and start singing as soon as possible. It's a lot of fun!

That's the store my wife worked at when we started courting.

That would be so much fun to pull something like this off locally!

The youth did this in the nearest large indoor mall around Christmas 2 years ago. Sang some carols.

Interesting. I noticed that they have over 13000 views in just over 24 hours and another 8000 or so views on the other video they did in the same store. Someone must like them.
