I made a decision a while ago to responding to every piece of low quality right wing click bait Valerie and temporal1 post, and instead try to find mutual ground to discuss with them.

I think there’s zero risk of either of those people leading anyone astray. You come across as nearly obsessed with “debunking”.

When I am given an opportunity to argue with elderly women, I decline. Respect for elders is important, even if they are reading news sources I think are bad.
The utility of arguing with many people on MN is questionable. You are one of them. Like you say, it's better sometimes to just be silent and discuss when there is some common ground.
It’s a real shame that there is so little common ground on Mennonet, such that every issue is contentious and people avoid discussion altogether. I’m not sure it was quite so bad on MennoDiscuss, even though we did have a small flock of penguins who eventually just talked among themselves. Quite frankly I don’t understand why some of our most prolific posters are even here on an ostensibly Mennonite forum.
Well from what Ive observed among the Anabaptists Ive come to know, & their health stores, I'm on common ground with them on their approach to health care.

And from what I have observed among some Amish stores and the witchcraft shops of my native Salem Massachusetts I am shocked at the common grounds of many of their health practices.

Sorry, you may find a teeny tiny fraction of dark amish. Until you visit the health food stores in Holmes County Ohio and look at their products, you really don't have a leg to stand on W⁴ayne. Don't ascribe witchcraft to health products, that is totally unfair and untrue! I am reading a book right now that lets me know where your line of thinking originated in the healthcare industry and it's making a lot of sense when I read your comments

He has a 99% success rate with his Covid patients. You seem to have an issue with doctors that have been successful.
According to Ken’s numbers, 98%-99% survival rate is average. So I wouldn’t think that a 99% survival rate for a doctor is anything to get excited about, much less hold up as evidence of a superior, unproven medical techniques.

His, is without hospitalization-yes we do realize the survival rate of covid patients is over 99%, but if you could keep them from going into the hospital that is so much better don't you think?

I think 99% of people who got Covid didn’t have to go to the hospital at all, or need medication at all.
So what exactly is his great accomplishment? These people who went to him would have likely survived and not ended up in the hospital anyway, without his help.
I wouldn’t give him credit for the 99% number.

My wife, who is a physician, says that physicians always get WAY too much credit because most people always get better no matter what you do or don't do. This is especially true for pediatrics. 99% of the stuff they see in pediatrics are kids that are going to get better in a day or two regardless of what the doctor does or doesn't do.

I realize you have little information as to why he was nominated for a Nobel Peaceace Prize & other countries turn to him, its okay, he doesn't need your recognition, hes not seeking recognition. He's just one of many. I agree for most people covid was not a problem or a big problem, prevention and the right treatment could save lives, we now have a list of doctors that we will turn to if and when we ever get covid, don't need the shot, which he also does not recommend

Tell that to all the people who could have been prevented from dying. I have been dealing with the public during this for 15 months face-to-face witnessing fear and anxiety at a level I've never witnessed.

Wayne in Maine wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 3:14 pm I do believe there is reason to be righteously angry at how many segments of the government have responded to this pandemic. But this pandemic is real. Pseudo-science will not resurrect the people who did not have to dies of this disease if people had behaved responsibly and not bought into Satan's lies (Yes, I said it - this is nothing but witchcraft and worldly, satanic lies!)

Covid is a real disease that really kills people. Mose Stoltzfoos, who is famous as one of the founders of the Charity movement, died of this disease. Given my undiagnosed "co-morbidity" condition back in January I might be dead now if I had attended the "Anabaptist Identity Conference" where hoaxes such as Valerie is peddling were the response of the assembled "ethnic Anabaptists" and their conspiracy-minded associates. Instead of consideration for their neighbors, known and unknown, who were vulnerable to this diseases they only cared about themselves and their "freedom". Unknown to them, a lot of Mennonites have contributed to these deaths, like their labors did in in factories producing war materials contributed to the deaths of German and Japanese soldiers and civilians on the second great war.

I thank God for the opportunity to see who are the sheep and who are the goats in the response of "Christians" to this deadly pandemic.
I see this response has 7 likes and I hope the last statement doesn't mean that those with opposing views on this topic are either the saved or the unsaved as the sheep and the goats text indicates.

Regarding 'righteous anger' yes scripture says we can experience anger but it also says not to carry it beyond one day. The fruit of the Spirit is not being manifested when what we are angry about leads to quarreling, hostility, slander (2 Cor 12:20) and/or produces strife, divisions, rivialries (Gal 5:20) and being angry with a brother will result in judgment (Mathew 5:22).

Some here chose when they see this happening on a thread to just simply not get involved. For those who see things differently and believe their view is also a righteous view have the challenge of keeping their response in a way that reflects the fruit of the Spirit. When my post cannot do this, I should refrain from encouraging fleshly anger.

Anyway, a couple thoughts I have been studying on this righteous anger thing.
