and no, i am not in this video. my part is much smaller and not video worthy. but i'm part of this whole process.

i'm quite irritated.
i killed my computer.

i've been having problems with being able to talk so that zoom meeting people can hear me.
so i bought a mic, and plugged it in. it still didn't help matters.
thot maybe i had the wrong hole, so i found another one, and plugged it in there.
the computer promptly shut off.

and now it won't turn on.

quite irritated.

don’t dispose of it.
i’ve had laptops that “died”/black screen. i took them to Best Buy’s Geek Squad, they were able to retrieve onto a memory card (i think.) after that, i replaced. i left the old devices with them.
there may be ways .. i do not remember costs.

occasionally, they have fixed things for me without charging, but i never count on that.
i do not have any contracts with them.

it's back!
it's not dead!

tonight before pulling it out and taking it somewhere, i decided to try something. i disconnected the power cord at the little box that's on the cord. waited until the green light on the box went out, then plugged it back together, and pushed the start button.

it worked!

It was nice to see you JM at the Seekers Conference - albeit too briefly. Same with Jazzman, who popped in just for a bit. Wish we'd have had time to catch up a bit - nevertheless, it reminded me of some of the "mennomeets" of old.

i don't know about you all, but there are certain threads from md that i wish were archived.
i loved the first story thread we did, playing in the attic in bat guano.
and the legos thread, was epic.
and of course, my random thots, altho, it wouldn't have meant as much to others, as it did to me.
and i always did like the title for the briar patch. not so much the thread, but the title.

not much that can be done about it now, anymore. it is what it is.

here's hoping we can bring mennonet to life.
change is inevitable. change can be good.

the legos thread. sigh. wish i could add this to the legos thread.
