Thank you for sharing the images. I have been curious about the signage, now I have a better idea. The ones on the trucks, are they easily removed or will they be hard to remove when the time is right?

BTW, I will be watching for these signs as I continue to watch the live feeds of the protests.

Um, let's just say the lettering can be removed by professionals when the time is right. Don't want anyone getting ideas! The Dodge pickup, tho? Brian plans to leave it. It's the "Freedom Edition" now, I guess.

I am very thankful of your profession. I love seeing truck details and decorations as I drive. Whenever I do, I will think of you too.

Signtist, nice work. :D

You are in Ontario.
Are you witnessing decreased crime and boosts to Canada’s economy, including taxes paid, resulting from the convoy?
Any other ignored positives?

Do you expect to see “Canada Convoy” flags+logos immediately displayed in gov schools, coast to coast? (As we in the U.S. see rainbow flags and BLM flags displayed in gov schools.) Nobody actually voted on these things. The entitled do as they please.

(It’s believed) taxpayer dollars are not being diverted to help the convoy, not for fuel, food, electronic charging stations, shelter, or other goodies generously gifted to Seattle’s (not peaceful) 2020 (summer).

Thank you for your kind words. Ottawa, in particular is rumoured to have less crime since the convoy. I can't immediately find the articles to cite for that. Economy? I think part of the thinking behind the convoy was not only to make a voice heard in Ottawa, the borders closing was part of the plan. Shutting down $400million in trade per day is going to affect the economy. Not in a positive way. That's to be expected, probably even a desired convoy result. Money, or lack of it, gets noticed when you're used to streams of it flowing around you. Convoy flags becoming mainstream? I doubt it. Not except on private property. No way can the government display a symbol of the very thing that they are trying to do away with. Terry Fox, a Canadian icon who began a cross country run in the 80's to raise cancer awareness, has a statue erected in his memory in Ottawa. Someone hung a Canadian flag on it, and posted a "End Mandates" (or similar) sign on him. The media went rabid, yet there are pictures of liberal politicians who posed beside the statue, which they had draped with a pride flag.

Right click on a facebook photo, click copy image address or some similar wording.

When writing a post here click the Image That will give you a line like this:

Image

The cursor should be flashing in the middle of the two [] tags. You can hit ctrl v or right click and click paste which pastes the URL, or internet address of that picture. Hit Preview to see if it worked, or hit Submit to post it for everyone else to be able to see it.

Then you get to join in on all the fun around here.
Signtist wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 9:43 pm All my signs were appropriate.
I have no doubt, but wanted to tease you a bit.
If that doesn't work here's what I've been doing:

1. click on the picture, then click "download image".
2. At the bottom of the message board click "add attachments", then select the file the image loaded to, then select that image.

3. On the message board again click "place in line". (Now you should have the image on your post.)

4. Copy and paste both the headline/caption and the link.

That's what I've been doing and it's been working!

Signtist,

That’s some amazing work. If I need a (non political message) paint and sign work I’ll be heading to you, assuming the border reopens to unvaccinated folk.

Thanks, Signtist, this is just what i wanted to read - your experience, opinion, personal observations. “From where you sit.”
No need to cite sources.

This is the value of this discussion forum, virtual acquaintences sharing views “from where they sit.”

When you wrote this, interest became about your personal pov, IRL, on the ground, not about “sources.”
Signtist wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 3:36 pm I have opinions about this. I have deep feelings about this. Truckers are, in a very real sense, "my people."
Maybe one day I'll find the words to say what's inside. Maybe not.

But one thing is certain, what is on most of the news is so far from reality, it's disgusting.
