I think the "early to bed, early to rise" thing is a good idea for me and many. However, I don't think the government should force this on us all.

This hits different in Maine. Are you telling me bedtime can now be at 4:30 PM?

...because our 13 cozy guest beds are ready for it.

Physics Behind SuperMoon !
On November 5, 2025, there will be a Full Moon, known as the Beaver Moon.
It will reach its peak illumination at 8:19 AM and will be particularly special as it coincides with a supermoon, making it appear larger and brighter than usual. The moon will be 99% illuminated at 11:00 PM ET, marking a significant point in the lunar cycle.
The moon was very bright in clear skies last night.

2026 / 10 years on for this topic. It’s March. :)

“Do-nothing Congress” at “work”.

Will Trump end daylight saving time? Here's what he has said

(Includes photo gallery with 102 SOTU photos)

To paraphrase, T prefers permanent DST, considers it a 50-50 issue, so, action is unknown.
Could he? It requires an act of Congress.

Reports are, for the many who want year-round DST, he’s with you.

i’m STILL in the “pick one, stick with it” group.

If the government said everyone should go to bed an hour earlier and get up an hour earlier, there would be great protests. But if they name it "Daylight Saving Time," we just go along peacefully.
