That is my old nature not wanting lies to be said about me in public. Perhaps when I get spiritually mature enough I will take being abused and not defend myself in public. I'm not there yet and still have to battle with the flesh. There have been times in my life when I did 'turn the other cheek' but there were also times when I didn't. I still struggle with bullying tactics but not like I did in my younger years.ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2023 6:01 pm Seems odd to me that someone would actually write a post, include in it a statement that it would have been better if the post were a PM, and then click "Submit" and post it publicly.

Re: Bunny Trails
I would say that the folks reading on this forum can easily see whether or not the accusations are accurate. If the shoe fits, wear it; otherwise I suggest you don't worry about it.Sudsy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2023 6:13 pmThat is my old nature not wanting lies to be said about me in public. I'm not worried. Do you think the accusations are accurate since you are a forum reader ?ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2023 6:18 pmI would say that the folks reading on this forum can easily see whether or not the accusations are accurate. Re: Bunny Trails
I would be happy to put an end to this conversation, and Sudsy, I'm sorry for offending you with my usage of things like "always". I was being hyperbolic. Of course I don't think you do that to every single 100% of threads, but it does end up being the majority of my interactions with you.
I usually try not to respond or say anything, but it does seem like it would be nice if we could have more positive interactions, instead of always turning everything in a Pentecostal/evangelical vs. conservative-Mennonite sort of argument. I don't think such arguments about the same topics over and over are really that helpful for anyone, and I think it would be good to confine such arguments to a thread dedicated to the topic thereof.

Re: Bunny Trails
Thats fine but , imo, a few posts back that began 'Seems odd to me ' that was making a judgment about my previous post. But I agree if we all just examined ourselves, all the personal judgment of others could end or at least be minimized.ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2023 9:42 pmI'm not here to judge. Re: Bunny Trails
I'm sorry for not turning the other cheek when I felt offended. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said you were 'being hyperbolic'. Even in this last post I underlined what I regard as more use of being hyperbolic. As you know I came from a Pentecostal background but if you look closely at my posts regarding Pentecostalism, I am not pushing Pentecostalism. If I were, I would be currently attending the local Pentecostal church. In one of my latest posts I was pointing to the similarities in modern day Pentecostal ways to that of the Mennonite Brethren church I attended. My point was that over 70+ years the changes in Pentecostalism are very similar to the changes in MBs, with a few exceptions. That was my experience and knowledge of the two.Josh wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2023 10:27 pm I would be happy to put an end to this conversation, and Sudsy, I'm sorry for offending you with my usage of things like "always". With that said, until I can get control over not 'turning the other cheek', I will be placing you on my foes list even though I don't like resorting to using this feature. I think this feature may work as hopefully, a temporary means to avoid warring. This will be my last post to you for now but I will keep the door open with the PM feature. I am sorry for not using this PM feature and keeping these kind of personal things private.

To whom it may concern -
And before it is pointed out that this thread is 'being offered', the thread itself is putting a limit on who can participate, 'complainers only'. What is the problem with keeping this forum open ? I have my suspicions but will not get into that.
From the Complainers Thread where another attempt is being made to keep 'complainers' out of threads that try to limit who is able to post on a specific thread. The simple solution to the problem is to quit saying who can participate where on this forum. If the participation wanders off topic there is a means of asking for those posts to be sent here to this Bunny Trail thread. This thread is being offered as a place to post complaints about this forum, other users on this forum, restrictions or exclusions that you feel are unfair, or any other complaints about life in general. Participation limited to complainers only.

Moderators, could we have this moved to the complainers thread where it belongs?Sudsy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 12:25 pm To whom it may concern -
