'Easter-themed candy'. Now that could be an interesting topic from a Christian perspective.

I found this site that was new to me -
https://openaparty.com/open-a-party-sho ... 6_778_2360

But those 'Candy Cross Stretchable Bracelets' might be too much of a stretch for some Anabaptists, including me.

I've already had too many chocolate 'easter' bunnies. Chocolate can be quite addictive. I'm a bit conflicted though to bite off the head of a cute little bunny, one of God's creations. And to think, back years ago, I once hunted them for sport. :)

"Real" chocolate is better than the higher priced bunny-shaped chocolate, but bunnies are OK too. (I have trouble with dark chocolate, however, so prefer milk chocolate.) [Posting this mainly to bump SOMETHING, ANYTHING, up ahead of all of the war talk.]

I read enough elsewhere online. Don't need to read about it here 8-)

Where's the sport in hunting chocolate bunnies? They just sit there on the store shelf, waiting for someone to harvest them.

I prefer the dark chocolate bunnies! Or any other dark chocolate.

And I prefer buying it after Easter when the prices are reduced!

I prefer dark chocolate over milk chocolate. I used to have a piece of Hershey's dark chocolate as a bedtime snack but it was causing strange and bizarre dreams. So I stopped that practice.

I prefer dark chocolate but it has to be quality ones- not just any and if I were to eat a bunny- but don't anymore- it has to be solid. Love solid eggs- used to get Old Monmouth candy from NJ and their eggs and nonpareils are wonderful. At one time loved chicks and jelly beans but not so much these days. Just prefer good chocolate- a good Lindt chocolate truffle or Dove truffle are wonderful too.

As a young child, my parents provided "Easter baskets", which I think were supposed to be supplied by the "Easter Bunny." I haven't connected candy and Easter for over fifty years. Brings back family memories.

This explains a lot of MennoNet posts.
