Staying Cool in this Heatwave
A thread for ideas on how to stay cool in miserably hot weather.

I use photos of glaciers as my computer wallpaper and drink water and lemon juice.

I don't stay cool, I just get hot and keep going. Avoid direct sun, drink water, use a fan. I don't mind the heat during the day, it makes my stiff back feel better, but I sleep better with AC.

I still am puzzled how it’s called a “heatwave” when it’s the same weather (and high temps) I remember most of my life. If anything, summers seem a bit milder here and not as dry.

Stay inside when you can, otherwise yet those little neck fans. I also have this thing that I can get wet and it will stay cold for a while. milk is apparently just as hydrating, if not more than Gatorade. I miss the West Coast weather, even if it was wet all winter. Ours is more exciting though.
