As for Steve's Polls: I think they provide a welcome perspective into the "Day in the Life" of members here. Nothing heavy, just plenty of good sharing.
Typically I have a list of threads and polls, usually to keep the forum active. Also, with some of the current events surrounding our communities, some threads tend to get negative and dark at times.

Thanks for bumping this thread. I can't believe there are only 12 votes. WE NEED TO KNOW YOUR OPINION. If you have not yet voted, there is still time. If you have already voted, and it has been more than six days since your first vote, now is the time for your booster vote. GET VOTING, PEOPLE.

Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not after you.

I’m told that who votes doesn’t matter, what matters is who counts the votes. Looks like two more ballots have arrived in a white van, and another one was pulled from under the table.
I can’t figure out if we need more or less voter suppression around here.

We're up to 15 voters now. The stats is all that matter, and so far all 15 favor Steve's polls. Fantastic. Beautiful. Do not question democracy at work.

Last time I did the math, we typically average 30 votes on polls, but I am never sure if its just us regulars, or the ones that lurk and rarely participate. As mentioned, its the votes that count 8-)

It's a bipartisan mandate. Steve, carry on with the polls already.

when i was new to MD, new to forums, Robert was “just a forum member,” etc., he once advised, “most folks will speak up when they DISAGREE.” thus, topics that are more agreed/accepted, may seem to be ignored.

people reading and quietly nodding. :)

maybe not “the word of God,” but, “food for thought.” :blah:
