Where has this culinary gem been hiding all my life?

Never thought I could eat cold oatmeal, but my mind has been changed forever....

You may have my share. I'll stick with the old fashioned cooked version. :D

"Cold oatmeal" sounds more like a healthy alternative to eating bacon. (Just kidding of course, since I know you like bacon).

You can make almost any better with bacon. Except oatmeal.

I actually fry up a pound or two of bacon and eat it cold as a snack at work. Been doing that for years.

But yes, if I need carbs, the oatmeal works. Protein, its gonna be bacon 8-)

I'm not really a fan of oatmeal but my wife likes to do the overnight oats trick. She puts it in a jar and pours milk over it and lets it sit overnight in the fridge. In the morning she nukes it in the microwave to warm it. She says it saves the time for cooking her oatmeal. I'm all into the bacon myself and eggs, love them eggs.
