Re: Seasonings
i love lemon pepper. i use it on tomatoes. i use it on sautéed zucchini, cabbage and noodles, i'll add it to my salad. just to name a few.
season salt, we will generously sprinkle season salt onto chicken, and bake it in the oven. about half ways thru baking, we'll turn the chicken over, and add more season salt to finish.
salt and pepper of course. mom's not as fond of pepper as i am.
garlic salt on baked potatoes is really good.
love my franks red hot sauce. i'll even eat it spoonfuls at a time. put chips on a plate, and cover w franks red hot sauce. do the same w beef jerky. i started even putting it on my salad w ranch dressing. make a batch of chicken instant noodles and add hot sauce and cream cheese. try it, you might like it as well as i do.
i like to add italian seasoning to my salad. usually not both lemon pepper and italian seasoning at the same time. just depends what my mood is.

Re: Seasonings
My current go-to seasoning for nearly every dish is Costco's no-salt seasoning: https://www.costco.com/kirkland-signatu ... 34965.html It is similar (but better) than Mrs. Dash No Salt Seasoning that you can find everywhere.
I use it in soups, stews, spaghetti sauce, just about everything I cook that is savory not sweet.
After that it is basically salt, pepper garlic (actual garlic not garlic salt) bay leaves, and Italian seasoning.
During the summers my garden produces fresh dill, mint, oregano, basil, chives, scallions, rosemary, thyme, sage, etc.

Re: Seasonings
I would use Herdez Chipotle Salsa Cremosa for that. And for a hotter hot sauce, used more sparingly, I try different ones. Currently it's De La Viuda.justme wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 9:12 pm love my franks red hot sauce. i'll even eat it spoonfuls at a time. put chips on a plate, and cover w franks red hot sauce. do the same w beef jerky. i started even putting it on my salad w ranch dressing. make a batch of chicken instant noodles and add hot sauce and cream cheese. try it, you might like it as well as i do.

What is barn dust?
I love your favorites justme,
Dad liked Tabasco sauce on everything, towards his end of life he put it on his pancakes too. I put it on my popcorn.
Dill weed on salmon.
Curry powder in Chicken soup.
Spices are fun! And can have health benefits
