Container gardening?

I was watching a few videos about putting spring perennial bulbs in containers. Has anyone done this successfully?

i’ve done some container gardening with good results. various flowers, plants, grape tomatos were good!

no bulbs. but, good idea. :D
the last bulbs i planted (bulbs were always easy for me) were super the first year - white tulips
i believe moles got every one of them the next year!
maybe containers would work?

one year i had a couple of RUTGERS tomato plants in containers.
they were getting ripe, coming along beautifully, then - GONE.
probably bunnies or squirrels, i guess.

I have about a dozen dwarf cannas in containers. Second year I've done this, but last year there were only two.

So far, so good.

I want to try a tulip and crocus mix. I always had a thing for black and white tulips and I need to get them ordered soon or else they sell out.

I also heard of people keeping potted perennials inside but you have to trick the bulb into thinking is winter for about 8 weeks.
