i procrastinated, but had the root canal last Thursday. almost finished with antibiotics. it seems ok.
i’m not sure what my final bill will be. my psychic powers are pretty sure a further bill is in my future.

Today .. weed treatment.

Also, unhealthy air from Canada’s wildfires. i don’t recall having that before. Smoke is visible. Occasionally, we may see some unusual sunsets from western fires .. but pollution from the east is unusual. Most of our weather comes from the west+south. Not always. Reports are Chicago+Detroit “have it bad.”

My sil called for lease consultation last night. Did hell freeze over?
After realizing he couldn’t find my phone number, he texted for it. Married 16 years.

He’s grown up a lot since the last time he called. Wait. Did he ever call?? i honestly can’t recall.
We text now+then.

i’m having fun. i know guys don’t call their mils. it’s a guy rule.

Finally sold our old home today. Down to one property. Will be much easier to manage now.

1pm here, suddenly almost dark as night. Weird.
Winds+rain are picking up now from the south. That’ll blow the smoke back to Canada!

i may lose power. we’ll see. prayers for those on the highway.

Relief for Texas (heat/hurricanes) pretty much lands on our doorstep in the Midwest. i dread it.

We camped in Texas’ Hill Country and south in March one year. It was plenty HOT in March!
We tried to camp on the coast - winds blew us away. We left early, dodging tornadoes for hundreds+hundreds of miles.
Texas teaches distance driving. o.boy.

Today .. i threw away a spray can of PAM with an expiration date of 2010.
You know, if you’re not careful, time just gets away from you.

I just ignore it until it goes away.

The dry month has pretty much killed my corn. Not sure if I will get any out of the garden. I have city water so water sparingly and missed a few days. Seems the corn was much more sensitive then the rest of my crops.
