Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. The service went really well. I was able to share stories of his life. Also mended some fences with the oldest son.

The blessings of mended fences. God is smiling on you I’m sure of it. I was thinking about y’all today while setting up my little smoker and said a prayer for y’all. None of this is easy but God is standing with you. I just know it.

Smoking the first ham of the season today. We’ll eat it for Easter Sunday dinner. Some other folks want me to smoke their Easter hams too. I should be done by Thursday.
