Started the bathroom remodel.

Had a leak in the hot water line this morning. Seems a new fitting failed. Will fix it later. Wife has 2 DR appointments today.

I also got sick for an hour yesterday. I came home feeling a little fever and that tingley feel of the flu. I sat down drank some tea and relaxed. An hour later I was over it. Yes, a lot of people get annoyed that I can get over a virus so fast. Usually lasts about 4 hours. Only lasted 1 hour yesterday. Lots of tea makes my system acidic and makes it hard for virii to grab hold. That is my story and I am sticking to it.

I also have a good Salisbury steak recipe, very similar to Poor Man's steak, that the family likes. More uses for the venison are, making a big batch of chili, and vegetable soups to can.

I am interested in trying your Salisbury steak recipe. Mixing up a marinade at the moment and made me think of this.

Also, any recipes for rabbit?

The wind chill is about -7˚F here. I finished smoking 30 lbs of trout for a friend today. They eat it for New Years. Time to bring in the smoker for a few weeks and stow it in the garage. No more smoking until the weather isn't so frigid.

I am remodeling the bathroom in the house we are living ... slowly. Mostly a little each weekend. I will be getting two weeks off around Christmas so I can knock it all out then.

May have a contract on the house we have been trying to sell for a year. Got an offer and countered. Waiting to hear of they will accept the counter. Mostly $2000 difference. Biggest challenge is they have to sell their house first and it is in CA. Wife looked up their area and it seems to be doing okay on sales there. We will see.
