Supper, or any meal, my granddaughter loves French toast.
This recipe caught my eye. i imagine the ordinary bread she prefers would work great.

Next visit, i’ll try it out.
i’d go light on the syrup, altho it makes a pretty picture.

Sausage French Toast Roll-Ups Recipe: The Ultimate Sweet & Savory Breakfast Delight
https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/ ... ed2c10d978

Image
Ingredients
Breakfast Sausage Links: 8 links, cooked and drained
Bread: 8 slices, crusts removed (soft white or wheat bread works best)
Eggs: 2 large
Milk: 1/4 cup
Vanilla Extract: 1/2 teaspoon
Ground Cinnamon: 1/2 teaspoon
Granulated Sugar: 1/4 cup (for coating)
Butter: 2 tablespoons (for frying)
Maple Syrup: for dipping (optional)

Directions
Flatten the Bread:
Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread, creating a smooth surface that makes rolling easier.
Roll the Sausage:
Place a cooked sausage link at one end of each flattened bread slice. Roll up tightly, creating a secure roll.
Prepare the Egg Mixture:
In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
Coat the Roll-Ups:
Dip each sausage roll-up into the egg mixture, coating all sides evenly.
Cook the Roll-Ups:
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the roll-ups seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, adding more butter as needed, until golden brown all over.
Coat with Sugar:
Roll each cooked roll-up in granulated sugar to coat, giving each bite a sweet and crunchy finish.
Serve:
Serve warm with a side of maple syrup for dipping if desired.

This thread, like the humor thread, was meant to be a place where not everything is political and people take a rest from things like denigrating immigrants by promoting false memes.

I think we need more of that. When Haitians are getting death threats in Springfield, this is simply not funny. Perhaps it's better to use this thread to share about everyday life things, like what's for supper?

1. Are we discussing the topic? Good.
2. Are we going around and around in a fight? Let's stop doing that.
3. Is there some serious wrongdoing or relational injury? Let's address that, probably not in public and certainly not for show.

You are welcome to your option, but that statement is not the rule.
