This was posted on Facebook by the Amish Heritage Foundation. This elderly woman could most definitely use prayers and if there's anyone around Moultrie County, Illinois who wants to show up in court tomorrow for moral support for her then I'm sure she and her daughter would appreciate it. It's going to be in the Moultrie County Courthouse at 1:30 pm tomorrow June, 28th.

"Anyone here from Arthur, IL or knows people (Amish, Mennonite, and non-Amish) in Arthur? I (Torah) am here in Arthur today through tomorrow (Friday). There's a major sexual abuse case going on and the hearing is tomorrow (Friday, 1:30PM in Sullivan, IL courthouse) to determine custody of a 90-year-old bedridden Amish grandmother Nettie Yoder whose Amish son Gerald Yoder was raping her for at least 10 years.

We need as many people as possible to show up on Friday at the court hearing to support Nettie and her Amish daughter to get custody.

Almost all the rest of the siblings are defending Gerald and trying to get custody taken away from the good daughter. They don't care at all about Nettie and they also are trying to sweep the rapes under the carpet instead of pressing charges. The whole community has known for YEARS about Gerald and his sexual crimes (Nettie isn't the only one he's assaulted). But no one has stepped up and spoken out until just recently."

The guardianship was decided yesterday. The woman's daughter was appointed guardian of Nettie Yoder and her estate. To my knowledge there have been no charges filed against the son but it's reported that 14 other women came forward to say that this man had raped/sexually assaulted them. Please pray for Nettie Yoder and the other victims who came forward and pray that Gerald Yoder is kept from sexually abusing others.

HOLLANDSBURG, Ind. (AP) —
Authorities say two people were killed when a van car crashed into a horse-drawn buggy in western Indiana.

The Parke County Sheriff's Department says an Amish family of four was traveling along U.S. 36 in a horse-drawn buggy Saturday morning when it was struck from the rear by the van.

The Tribune-Star reports the impact near the community of Hollandsburg forced the buggy off the road, killing two of the four family members.

The two survivors were flown to Indianapolis hospitals, but their conditions weren't immediately known.

The van's driver, 66-year-old Steven Miller Ealy of Danville, Indiana, was not injured, and a veterinarian cared for the horse at the scene.

Police say alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash.

May I please request prayer for my mom Bonnie's upcoming surgery (she has stage 3 stomach cancer & has been put through a myriad of hiccups to finally get to surgery on Tuesday- (and for my safe travel again to California)

My dad Scott in the hospital with blood clots- 2 travelled through his heart to his lungs- and one large one in his thigh- they are treating him with blood thinners & monitoring but they say he gets confused & disoriented- (he's 87)

Thank you temp & Max, & anyone praying. I'm in CA, with sister & Mom's surgery to remove Timor in stomach is soon, God is good, the Great Physician- Neil is home- Dad is in CA 2 counties away. Praying he stays well, as he's been in & out of hospital lately-, we need to focus on mom through this - it's just that time onife we all go through but prayers for Mom has kept her in peace, thank you!

Clayton Shenk, of Tidings of Peace Church, in York PA, has stage 4 cancer. I'm not sure how many of you read his Caring Bridge updates but he has taken a sudden turn for the worse. Lets pray for him and remember his family and church as well. Anyone with more info is welcome to update us.

Please pray for the mental health of my younger son. He's 27 and staying with us. My wife and I could use prayer also.
