"Cold oatmeal" sounds more like a healthy alternative to eating bacon.
Them werds is almost a warning thing. ;)
I'm not really a fan of oatmeal but my wife likes to do the overnight oats trick. She puts it in a jar and pours milk over it and lets it sit overnight in the fridge. In the morning she nukes it in the microwave to warm it. She says it saves the time for cooking her oatmeal. I'm all into the bacon myself and eggs, love them eggs.
Love them eggs as well. Sunnyside up with toast with soft butter. I can skip that greasy, salted, loaded with preservatives, smoked pork back fat. (the area bacon comes from on a pig). I can write all Kinds of stuff in the politics section that garners ire from other posters. But that is nothing compared to denigrating the beloved bacon. I hope I am not banished here forever for really not caring for bacon.

Like we all say around here "whatever floats your boat". I don't think it's really all that important to start a war over food preferences when there's so many more important Kingdom things to discuss. I like the food threads though because I'm the main meat man in our house. I smoke meat and cheeses. I'll even roast a turkey or chicken. My wife does the sides and casseroles. My grandpap lived to 101 and he was in charge of smoking the sides of pork in the family smokehouse. He also sipped moonshine and that might have helped his years too.
