It seems to me that the US is headed in the direction of third world countries, as it relates to how we conduct our elections.

I'm thinking peace-loving Anabaptists might be able to offer something in this increasingly polarized and unsafe world.

Living like Christ 365 days a year is a good start. But is there anything specific that non-resistant churches could do to promote less hate and violence as it relates to elections?

I would suggest getting caught up in the system like everyone else is probably not going to help. A few more votes for the "correct" candidate is not likely to offset the anger, negativity and suspicion it causes. I can see that on MN, but I don't know to what degree that represents Anabaptists as a whole.

Back to the topic, as I understand it there was a bipartisan bill passed after Jan 6 that addresses some loopholes that P. Trump and his team tried to exploit to disqualify the electors. But creative minds will always find another.

I expect there will be some poll violence, I find it likely someone will get shot.

Just a prediction, I highly doubt the assassination attempts will stop at "twice".

It will be no surprise if there is violence around the election, with all the volatile rhetoric spewed by both candidates.
