From the article, these are the conspiracy theorists and this is what they said:
“So here’s the scenario that I think is perhaps the most likely and most dangerous,” Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said on his podcast last month. “In August of 2024, the Democrat kingmakers jettison Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama.”

“I view this as a very serious danger,” he said.
and
"I feel like they’re grooming someone, and we all know it’s not Kamala [Harris]," Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., who is running for the Republican presidential nomination, told the "Ruthless" podcast last week.
and
But for conservatives who subscribe to the notion that Biden will not be the Democratic nominee, it’s not Phillips who is generating buzz, but rather names like former first lady Michelle Obama and California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
and
Newsom is getting renewed attention this week after meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. Newsom’s office said the meeting focused on “the climate crisis, and how critical China remains in the world’s effort to reduce pollution,” but the trip predictably quickly became grist for those who see Newsom waiting in the wing.

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy said he also saw the trip as political after it was announced last week.

"Let’s be honest, what this is," he said in Iowa City. "The man is running for president doing it and doing it in disguise doing it with a track record state that is more disastrous by the day."
and
Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, who also unsuccessfully ran for Congress in 2022, wrote on X last month, “Don’t be surprised ... I still say it’ll be Michelle O … Biden’s out.”
and
In July, longtime Republican operative and Trump ally Roger Stone told the audience at a Turning Point Action conference that “the Democratic nominee for president will be Michelle Obama,” a comment that was received with a chorus of boos. Stone confirmed to NBC News last week in a text message he still believes Obama will be the Democratic nominee.
I guess not a single one of them got it right.

Weird that they were really living in terror of Michelle Obama when she has never expressed the slightest interest in politics.

I don’t believe what happened was the result of any conspiracy at all. The Democratic power broker would never have succeeded in disposing of Biden if he was able to hold is faculties together. The way I see it, is he self destructed. And only after that, did people call for his head.
So while the conspiracy theorists were correct in predicting that he would be replaced, they were (arguably) wrong (as usual :) ) about there being a shadowy cabal dumping him.
I would have been more impressed if someone had predicted that Biden would have become to obviously slow, that the party would replace him.

Yeah. I don't think there was any master plan at all.

I think Biden was stubbornly determined to run and determined to stay in the race until it basically became clear to even his closest advisors that he no longer had a viable path forward.

Funny how they all dismissed the idea that it would be Kamala Harris and were obsessed with the notion that Michelle Obama would be the nominee. She really lives inside their heads for some reason. Which is weird because she disdains politics and has no interest in it. I'm surprised they weren't talking about it being Hillary. She is usually involved in most GOP conspiracy theories and is 2 years younger than Trump.

i didn’t read the article.

i recall, when biden was elected, many predicted harris would be POTUS within 6 months. (not a silly thought)
biden’s condition in 2020 was evident from the get-go.
harris’ very poor reception as a potential presidential candidate was noteworthy.

thus making her leap to VP .. quite an “accomplishment”. similar to her previous “accomplishments”.
no-vote appointments can be easier than elections.

the horror that should not be forgotten is:
the MANY politicians+media pundits EAGER to keep biden in place WITH STAGGERING ACCOLADES as to his condition.
some would say bold “lies”. they’re on tape. it was literally yesterday.

none of those powerful politicians or media pundits have been dismissed;
now, without apology, they are the very ones FRAMING harris as “the woman of the hour” with all their positionng, power, resources, which are undeniably magnificent in scale+reach.

they are getting away with this because many with itching ears are EAGER to hear what they’re saying.
many are thoughtless, willing to accept the pretty pictures presented. many are dedicated water-carriers, ready for direction.

My point was whether or not it's still a "conspiracy theory" that Biden won't be on the ballot.

Well well, I wonder why we don't trust that party at all? They can pull fast ones at any time- (time after time against President Trump) so no wonder we speculate in this manner.

Many politicians, the main stream media, Kamala Harris, all conducted a huge cover up of lies, that Biden was fit as a fiddle. The videos and photos taken of Biden staring into space, not knowing where he was, being lead by foreign leaders, Obamas and others, stumbling, mumbling, were all deemed as edited "cheap fakes". When Americans saw these things in Biden, they were told to not believe what they were seeing. But the truth prevailed, thankfully.

On another note, it is weird how things turn out. For a long time Trump was chided for his divorces, his alleged affair with Stormy Daniels, etc. Biden touted Trump as having the morals of an alley cat. Trump was called the "orange one". What do we have now. A candidate who received perks of moving up the political ladder, because she had an affair and slept with a married man, 30 years her senior. She did go on to marry a divorced man. As for the "orange one" moniker. I watched Biden's address last night and he had so much make on, he looked orange.

So it comes down to a choice between Trump and Willie Brown’s “side chick.” Boy I am glad I don’t vote.
