Saw this on a church sign today.

SMALL COURTESIES
Heartening stories
https://forum.mennonet.com/viewtopic.ph ... &start=200
In recent months, with epic discontent in airways, i’ve thought about how important SMALL COURTESIES are in most peoples’ daily lives. Whether locally, or during travel, i’m impressed with how courteous most people are to one another.
i sense lots of silent personal stress around, but this doesn’t keep people from treating each other kindly.
i’m seeing increasing evidence of poverty in my area.
The harder things are, the more important human dignity becomes.
(i learned from my elders who experienced world wars and The Great Depression.) The will to be a civilized human being regardless of trying circumstances.

Kindness and compassion are SO central to who Jesus was. And to what love is.

Sometimes kindness costs quite a bit, but it is a mandate from the Lord.
