Vaccine Mandates a Slippery Slope towards the Surveillance State and Mark of the Beast

I think I have allowed myself to get sucked into arguing with some who seem to enjoy conflict with other believers and my flesh got the best of me. I really was not in favour of the 'foe option' when it was placed on this forum but I do think it can be a tool to dis-fellowship.

With that said, I will start using my 'foe list' more, although I don't regard them as an 'enemy' but rather people who appear to me to like to cause dissension more than to build up others in following the Lord. And some might have me on their list when they feel the same. That is fine, I think we need to protect ourselves when what others post is harmful to our spiritual walk.

It isn't just the outside world and it's events that can get us side-tracked from having an eternal perspective. But since we all should be progressing in spiritual growth, we can always check out a 'foe' from time to time as we all can improve our walk with God and each other.

So, if I don't respond to posts by some here, it is probably due to them being placed on my 'foe list'. I will also open up my private message mail box so if anyone thinks they could be on my foe list and would like to talk privately we can.

It appears the Australian government has backed down after massive protests.

The mandatory vaccination requirement is to be removed for all customers in retails, real estate, places of worship, weddings and funerals. Mandatory vaccinations will only still be required for hair and beauty services.

However, restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs will still only be open to fully vaccinated patrons and staff and workers are still required to wear masks.

Face masks will no longer have to be worn at weddings, funerals, or ceremonial settings.

Ok, you're right it's hard to discuss this without seeing a conspiracy somewhere.

My concern was this discussion was becoming too personal, that's all.

I am saying that a vaccine mandate being a slippery slope to the proverbial "mark of the beast," strains credulity.

Perhaps I will ask my husband, a man with a master's degree and published in scientific journals if he feels the same as he was either given the choice to resign or face termination due to "gross negligence."

I mean, clearly a man, such as he must not understand "science."

What strains the credulity is a vaccine mandate being the mark of the beast. An employer asking for a vaccine hardly equates to the mark of the beast. When I went to Liberty U I had to get some vaccines.

What kind of job did this involve? How did he respond? Did he have convictions against vaccines? If so, what was the basis for his convictions?

If I ran a medical facility, I would want my employees to be vaccinated. We're in a pandemic. I don't want my facility spreading Covid-19.
