I’d like to see/hear that! What voices and tones do you choose?
Oh I’ve got different voices for everybody.

does mennonet support audio files? Or would you need to post it on youtube then link it?

Anything seems possible if you don't know what you are talking about. fb meme
You're entitled to your opinion, but I'm also entitled to ignore that nonsense. another fb meme

for the first time, i don’t regret the former lost versions of MD+MN.
this way, i only have 1269-ish regrets. :blah:

Dear Pelerin,
i’d like to clarify, i like what you’ve described here, i appreciate your forum input, altho i’m just getting to know you on forum.
i’d like to know more about what you do with reading out loud. i like it. we did it at home and in public school, and church, too.
teachers used to read in class, i’m not sure if that’s still done.

in early centuries most were illiterate, and, education was essentially for boys. another topic.
don’t tell my granddaughter who taught herself to read before kindergarten. right under our noses!
she didn’t tell us. she “just did it”. a book of daily devotions.

one of the dearest parts of the public nature of this forum are the UNEXPECTED responses that come along.
i love your response and hope to read more about it. (or, youtube.) you could read MN aloud and add to youtube.

1. Are we discussing the topic? Good.
2. Are we going around and around in a fight? Let's stop doing that.
3. Is there some serious wrongdoing or relational injury? Let's address that, probably not in public and certainly not for show.

Well… it was a bit of a joke. I’m not sure if I could summon up enough extroversion to read out loud in public like that but maybe if I show up at a MennoNet meetup at some conference one of these days I’ll have to try summon my courage to attempt it.

you know about Mennomeets? :D
they seem almost forgotten, they made for quite lively discussions on MD. were you active on MD?

honestly, (for me) your post was a combination of “a most awful idea” combined with a fun idea, plus, unique!
it’s good to shake things up now+then.

if you’d prefer to pass it off, i’d vote for R7ehr to read. i imagine he would do a good job in your place.

I used to read it somewhat regularly. I signed up about two years before the Crash (my records tell me it was around December 2014) but it wasn’t sending out the confirmation emails properly at that time so I was never able to post.

Need the voices before a Mennomeet. Need them before you hear people’s real voices.
