Looks like Pennsylvania is gonna take another crack at legalizing marijuana for adult use again:

So what if you or a loved one could be helped by using medical marijuana? Would you view CBD as being "safer"? Does your church have a written statement on such topics? Is the use of the above drugs any different than going to another country to get medicine that isn't legal in the US?

So many questions!

It is a plant being used for medicine. I have no problem with that.

Excesses of anything is spoken against in the Bible and would apply to this too.

I'm afraid I do judge, sometimes.

I have never smoked weed, and assume there may be better ways to use it medicinally.

Old hippies tell me that the weed of today is very different than what was available in the 1960s. Like everything from corn to soybeans, it has been repeatedly bred, cross-bred, and even hybridised in order to gain certain commercially desirable properties. In the case of marijuana, it has much more THC than it used to have.

I would caution anyone thinking of using marijuana to look into the side effects of schizophrenia and other mental illnesses in young people that are frequent users.

And that's where I judge.

We have decided to avoid marijuana for medical purposes. Putting it in the same category for us as alcohol.

If you really wanted to know the history of cocaine, its an interesting past!
