That said, the reason some of us like memes is they effectively point out, with sharp clarity at times, valid critiques of ideas/practices to which we too often don't think about reflectively.

I would encourage you not to step away from Brothers like Matthew and Dean because they use/appreciate memes at times. Perhaps just avoid the types of communique that you don't really like.
Just out of curiosity, what in your opinion does "Kingdom Christian" mean in the Meme Group?

I wish that were true... But his involvement speaks louder than his words...
What involvement are you referring to?
I used to be registered on thehistoricfaith.com. There was a link months back to this DKCM facebook page. There was a 13 year old boy asking how to find the page and was getting help - it was sad, I warned the boy it wasn't anywhere I would encourage my 13 year old son to check out. Protestants and Catholics have better things than CA's I guess for children...
Anyway, when I checked it out the first time there was a couple posts from a Dean Taylor that struck me as him having some involvement or participation anyway. I hope he has stopped but I don't know since I haven't checked it out in a while.

I find it concerning left wing politics and liberal-progressivism aren’t in this list.
I don't really see that in the CA world/s I inhabit. (I do see that in the liberal Anabaptist world.) That is why I didn't include it.
You may want to check the mirror, or Facebook. Some rather notable CAs in your very immediate orbit are proudly taking selfies and photographs at left-wing protests.
I know I have said it before...but here goes again. I wouldn't begin to vote for or support leftwing politics or politicians. You never see me pull a lever for Biden or Hillary or any of them. I am prolife and have a traditional Biblical view of sexuality.

I can only think of literally only one of my CA friends, out of hundreds, that vote what you would call leftwing. He knows I see it differently.

Maybe you know folks I dont...

I think it is intended to name a kingdom view of salvation and national government. More or less along the lines of what I tried to outline in the video I recorded on Kingdom Christianity and the Anabaptist Vision. Alternate perspectives would be the individual salvation and patriotic American exceptionalism of the protestant fundamentalists.

Sigh... Just look around. This place is nauseating.
I dont know of a single CA that frequent this site that would support leftwing politics with voting, money, etc. I would be suspicious that some users on here do, but I dont think they are CA.

I’m not going to start calling out specific names (other than Milioni), but there are multiple kingdom Christian movement people who have been seen at left wing protests.

Understood. I was strictly going by some things he said on the DKCM session with Chester Weaver. Other than that I don't know what his involvement is with DKCM.

In both cases I think you are defining things more narrowly than others are viewing them.

I did enjoy that they had Chester on.

Partly where I'm coming from is years without fellowship and searching for encouragement. The person who has had the most profound impact on my life in encouraging me to follow Christ compassionately loving others is lesterb. I doubt I'd love my wife and children and God as much without his influence. And probably the person who has encouraged me the most in loving serving and reaching out to others is Ernie.
In fact I may have given up all together and especially on CA's if lesterb didn't engage with me like he has.

I could actually name many more that have been an encouragement - I've heard a few of your talks from the church planters forum I've listened to over the years.

But my point is that it was no matter how good ones theology is it really means nothing without the love of Christ in relating in a kind way to others. People are looking for more than wit and doctrine, of which DKCM doesn't have more than that to offer, or so it seems. I sorrow over people being turned away from Christ because of some of the people that get attention over the quiet ones in the background loving and serving kindly. I doubt lesterb and Ernie enjoy me mentioning them but I that's because they point to Christ.
I hope people can find encouragement in following Christ that leads to much loving and serving others selflessly and unfortunately DKCM is not that place.

Social media doesn’t have much to offer when it comes to needing encouragement to follow Christ. Social media isn’t effective at fostering real, human relationships.
