Back to the Facebook page "By Thy Words". This morning I saw a comment (referring to the CA targets of the page), "these people do not believe in sexual activity outside of marriage". It is beyond me to understand the castigating of people for believing fornication and adultery is wrong and a sin. But it does give a picture of the noxious attitudes of some posting comments.

People who aren't Christians tend to think sex outside of marriage is a good thing. They would, in fact, think it's a bad idea to get married without living together first. They would make fun of any book that promotes that you should save sex and living together for marriage.

I know, because I used to be one of such people, and I liked to mock "fundies" just as much as the next person. Such backwards, religious, dated ideas. We would make fun of people for being inbred, buck-toothed hillbillies from the South. That is just how the world goes.

You will find the same thing amongst those within Mennonite Church USA and the Methodist church who promote LGBT+ inclusion. They actually don't believe in chastity at all and they think sex outside of marriage (for heterosexual people) is fine. They claim they want gay marriage, but they also think homosexual activity outside of a gay marriage is also OK.
