Nothing about the fundraiser is outside of bounds for GiveSendGo; a conviction from 20 years ago is not going to make someone ineligible for fundraising for living expenses after losing their job. For comparison, GiveSendGo allows people accused of murder to raise funds on the platform:

https://www.givesendgo.com/press/karmel ... ny-verdict

They did close the fundraiser after he was convicted of murder, but only after the funds already raised had been disbursed to help his family pay for his legal defence. This fundraiser isn't even for any legal expenses, etc.,; the accused has long ago been convicted, sentenced, and served out his sentence. I am not sure what exactly you hope to accomplish from "reporting" the fundraiser.

The best thing for this is to simply air out in public what's... already in public. I don't think it would be more beneficial if Min. Miller and his supporters were instead shuffling this money around privately. GiveSendGo is performing a valuable service here, allowing us to see these fundraising activities in public. I think we should hold the church and his supporters accountable for what they are doing, not GiveSendGo.

This is a perspective I hadn’t thought of; thank you for sharing that.

You're welcome. And it just feeds into the mostly-untrue narratives about "Trudy's minions" and "Trudy's followers". The best cure for all of this is sunlight. Let them do as much as possible in public, because then the rest of us can actually figure out what they're doing. I can state with certainty that Stutzman raises millions of dollars, but it happens covertly enough it's hard for me to prove. Something like this blatantly in public means I can at least prove they're busy raising $30,000 for a perpetrator. I mean, let's just look at the donations rolling in:
Shed Suite LLC USD 1,000.00
Bubby Joe Jr. USD 500.00
Anonymous Giver USD 3,575.00
I have certain negative emotions when I think about how much money rolls into this vs. the amount for a fundraiser like this which I consider far more worthy:
https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-sher ... ragic-loss

They only asked for $7,500 with $3,500 raised so far. Meanwhile, the fundraiser for this "sabbatical" has earned another $1,000 just this morning since I first looked at it.

If Mr Miller finds or is granted non-conflicting work, a percentage for restitution to victims should be assessed. For life. At Mr Miller’s request/agreement. If victims refuse funds, they should choose where funds go.

Victims and their loved ones receive immediate life sentences from abusers/killers without representation or mercy.

For reference, crowd-funding entities like GFM and others, return funds to donors when they decide (immorality, i guess).
There is a subjective factor involved.
^^i added the above underlined, because, when+if there is authentic repentance, the response would be to aid victims.

DO WE BELIEVE IN REDEMPTION OR NOT?
yes, definitely.
authentic repentance puts victims over self first, respecting victims’ sentences are for life, without legal counsel or mercy.
authentic redemption manifests as voluntary, robust, real life, real time, humility. beyond human law.

i’m perfectly comfortable with an older, wiser, more docile Trump.

t1, I hope you can understand the GoFundMe and GiveSendGo aren't going to make an assessment of if Min. Miller is repentant or not, and in any case, their stated terms of service aren't going to find anything wrong with that fundraiser. The conservative Anabaptist community generally holds itself to much higher standards, though.

From my perspective, this looks to me like Steve Stutzman is buying off Min. Miller. I mean, it appears to be that his daughter is arranging a $30,000 payout to him with lots of anonymous donors and LLCs donating hundreds or thousands of dollars at a time. That seems... a tad suspicious to me. What's the real agenda here?

(She could be doing this on her own, but it is entirely reasonable to infer that Mr. Stutzman and his daughter collaborate on such things.)

Wife: that’s a really good reminder, although I believe that she also gave a mailing address so that people to donate without the gofundme me fees because Robert didn’t like gofundme

I dislike GFM too; I just thought it was an obvious way to gauge community support. That's also why I say the level of fundraising for this sabbatical is suspicious. It's a lot of money rolling in quickly.

It kinda feels like anything Trudy posts is “hate” to you. I’m trying to understand why you feel that way.
Don't speak for me or put words in my mouth. I don't think anything Trudy posts is "hate". I have said many times that I can agree with her work, but not with some of her tactics. However, some of the comments she allows on her Facebook at times, do sound hateful. And she does have control over that, as she can delete any comments that cross the line.

I find the expectation for Trudy to police / censor people who comment on her posts a bit excessive. Shouldn't those people's words just stand on their own? Why is it her responsibility to do this?

I don't understand.
Trudy now says that GE delt with LM, including disbanding his team.
He was arrested. The law had their say.
Buf that still isn't good enough. She is still on his tail.
