She's talking to BMA leaders. Nothing on Mexico. Meanwhile, the accolades pour in for BMA on her page and she says nothing. Something doesn't add up.
Trudy rarely says anything positive towards the conservative Anabaptist community, especially men. Occasionally she will, but not very often.

Some of Trudy's tactics are tawdry, however, there is no chance she was paid off by anyone.

Just a word of caution, don't say anything negative about Trudy here, as in some people's eyes, she is sacrosanct and venerated.
There is clearly an ax to grind.

Seems there are plenty of people to say far more negative things about than Trudy. Like Leroy Miller threatening a defamation lawsuit against her…

Trudy doesn't move at lightning speed. Never has. I am not concerned at all.

She moves when she knows she's got a rock-solid position.
It sure did not take her very long to attempt to smear Amos Raber.

The thread is not about Leroy Miller. But beings you mentioned it, he will never get that accomplished.

I am not sure who or what you are referring to. But it does seem at times Trudy has an axe to grind against a certain segment of Conservative Anabaptists.

If you mean the segment that abuses and shields abusers, I'm sure she would admit to that.

Okay I will reword that. She has an axe to grind with conservative Anabaptist men who she might disagree with, even if they’re innocent of any type of abuse or shielding abusers.

One could well accuse me of the same thing. Trudy also has an axe to grind with non-conservative Anabaptist men (like Steve Stutzman), conservative women, and non conservative women who seemingly find endless problems with victims speaking up, advocates speaking up, but mysteriously never want to hold abusers themselves accountable.

It does indicate a high level of distrust at this point. I am speculating that BMA asked Trudy to stand down on the story. BMAs actions towards whistleblowers would lend itself well to that theory. And that is "not saying anything good about" BMA.
If you change your settings to allow private messages, I might be open to dialogue a little. Maybe we both could learn from it.

Amos Raber showed humility by admitting he made a mistake. He was not smeared - unless one believes being called out is an automatic smear campaign.

There are people who aren’t abusers who, either knowingly or unknowingly, cover for them. Abusers need those people. Calling out those people is not wrong; it’s needed.

How they respond to being called out says a lot about them and their integrity (or lack thereof).

I think Amos passed that test.
