i have found out that what a person hates the worst in others, is often what they hate the worst about themselves.

Hmmm I guess that makes me a sinner as I hate sin. Wait a minute...

By that logic, some of our members should be CM's...

From headcoverings to gay sex. Unbelievable. :?

Second hit for Google on me - but Google is notorious for giving different people very different search results.

They don’t. If I wanted to endlessly hear pro-homosexual opinions, admonitions to get the vaccine, and criticism of right wing politicians, I’d just go back to my tab reading the New York Times or The Atlantic. If I wanted to hear it from Central District MC USA members, I’d go read MennoNerds.
Perhaps you just need a better internet filter if you don't want to hear about gays, vaccines, Trump, and MCUSA I'm sure there are some enterprising internet-savvy plain folk here who can fine-tune your filter for you!

Then you should stop stumping so publicly for it. My criticism isn't of homosexuals directly; my criticism of people like yourself who openly affirm behaviour that I think the Bible teaches is destructive and sinful.

For what it's worth, I levelled a lot of similar criticism at certain prolific posters here who seemed to steer every conversation into right wing political talking points. (I made a decision a few years ago to disengage from such criticism.) It seems only fair that I level the same concern at the resident left wing we have here.

You may be on to something. I have a lot of regret for the wasted years of my life I spent being a left-winger who promoted pointless progressive-liberal ideologies, including such things as promoting "allyship" with people trapped in an lgbt lifestyle. Not only was I hellbound because I was not a Christian, but the people I thought I was an "ally" for also were, and nothing I was doing could help them with the real problems in their life.

But any of us should have a lot of regret for that. People I know from both the left wing and the right wing who turn away from that to follow Jesus instead often have regrets for their past political affiliations. And it's only proper that we have concern for those who are still trapped in such a worldly political system. I really cannot think of anything more embarrassing than to post on a message board started by a Beachy Amish youth guy to an audience of mostly conservative Anabaptists about why it's so important to adopt whatever the left-wing progressive cause of the day is.

So yes, I'm going to keep speaking against it.
