I know that stretch of interstate very well and have driven it many times myself. I am curious what church you go to? Is it in Livonia? I grew up there, left the Detroit area, and have now recently come back.

Lots of good people there. We sent our boys to there vbs the last 2 summers.
My wife helped with the VBS last summer. Yes, they are very loving and friendly people.
Was your wife raised in the church in livonia?
Actually, she was raised in a Lutheran church. I became Lutheran at the age of 27 after I was born again. Met my wife in the Lutheran church. We have been attending at the Livonia AC church since March after some disillusionment with Lutheranism. As we are not members I expect they would not let her teach, but she helped in the VBS crafts. My intention is to stick with the AC church. Wife seems pretty happy with it too. A decision to join could be more complicated since she was baptized as an infant.

I don‘t think that would be an issue. My wife was baptized as a child as well. So was Bro Fröhlich
Well, if they baptized by pouring or sprinkling it would be simple, but they dunk at ACCA. They are not dogmatic about it because they will sprinkle if one cannot be dunked, e.g., someone in a nursing home. But in time, we will see. I am pleased with the progress because I have been much more enthusiastic about ACCA than she. Oh she likes it, and in fact, has taken to the wearing of a head covering (very small one that they gave her) at church, so that is a very positive step IMO.
