Have been waxing philosophical as of late....
What if life had a pause button? A rewind/reverse or "do over" button? Or fast forward? Would you use it?
If Friday is dragging out too long, fast forward to the weekend?
Use reverse to "do over" a bad decision?
Pause for the good times?
Vote and discuss.
steve,
can you remember your poll questions?
my grdaughter is 18, graduating HS, visiting a college with her mother in Montana! Today.
i want to go back! - another 18 years+9 months would be great. times 12 would be great. 13 isn’t too many.
lots of emotions this year.
No. I cannot.
I have two grandchildren of my own now. My older children are either married or in a relationship. They have jobs and responsibilities. My wife and I are very proud. The conservative anabaptist crowd we used to roll with may not agree with the direction our family went (or are going) but I have few regrets.

"The old woodcutter spoke again,
'You people are obsessed with judging. Don’t go so far. We only have a fragment. Life comes in fragments...
It is impossible to talk with you. You always draw conclusions.' "
Wife: Was this based on that one movie? I’d be nervous to use any of those buttons but maybe it same day rewind would be nice. Even bad things work to shape and mold us though.
1. Are we discussing the topic? Good.
2. Are we going around and around in a fight? Let's stop doing that.
3. Is there some serious wrongdoing or relational injury? Let's address that, probably not in public and certainly not for show.
