Mennonite colony in Suriname

[Thomas_muntzer]

I've seen a number of videos about it over the last year or so, but all in Plautdietsch, of which I unfortunately know very little. (They come up on my FaceBook feed because I am a member of a Plaudietsch group there.) What I saw were promotions of opportunities to purchase large tracts of land there.

Just out of curiosity, which is the Plautdietsch group on Facebook?

If there is more than one, I'm not aware of any others.

Some Datsch people (Pennsylvania German) must have seen it, and started one of their own as well.
