I’m not sure this is really a fair assessment. In my experience people with medical cards are rarely using the drug for anything more concrete than what millions of people have used it in the past. People used it as a stress reliever, pain reliever, etc. for years while it was still illegal.
I guess I just don’t see any big moral reason to preach against marijuana, if we’re not also placing the same emphasis on caffeine and sugar.
We have friends with a mentally disabled daughter who suffered from various seizure problems and cannabis seemed to help the problem. Their medical doctor gave them a back channel contact person to acquire the cannabis, before it was legal.
Not to sound insensitive or anything, how does she consume it? Do they make edibles or something?

Though some form of pills/capsules.
Always wondered about that.

I’m glad they were able to find a solution that worked for their daughter!

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -
with even modest attempt at presenting balanced facts from the start.

Its been said more than once that is alcohol was discovered/invented today, it would be classified under the category as heroin. Reason its not? Too much money to be made.

Follow along... here in Pennsylvania, wine & liquor is controlled by the state. When the pandemic hit, stores could still sell and prices never spiked like other consumables. As much as I enjoy a good conspiracy, there were motives to keep those stores in business.
