For me personally I don't participate much because I have a very limited amount of energy so I prefer to engage only on certain topics that are important to me.
We have 4300+ members. Only 30+ participate. Why?

I chose every option because I wanted to cover all the bases for those who won't participate in this poll.

Ah. Thanks. Yes, much better!ohio jones wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 11:41 amOf the 4315 listed in the Members directory, only 410 have completed the registration process (we don't let just anybody in, you know). 242 have posted somewhere other than just the Welcome thread, and some of those are no longer with us.![]()
37 "real" users have logged in so far today, and 88 this month.
Given those numbers, I'd say a participation rate of around 30 is pretty good.

LOL, no I don't think someone is related to Somebody...
On second thought, surely Somebody has someone who is related to them. Most likely more than one someone!

This is somewhat confusing about somebody or someone... somewhere there's someone who can answer this puzzle somebody maybe? Strangely enough, I am related to somebody somewhere and someone over here...something strange is happening... to make all these someone's related to somebody.

My guess is a lack of what I consider Anabaptist specific spiritual topics even amongst the 30+ participants. That has caused me to leave before and may again. Sometimes a troll drops in and stirs up some theology discussion but it seems those who have shown more spiritual interests in the past don't participate much anymore. Some that do like to discuss God topics are not even Anabaptists. Well that is my experience, YMMV.steve-in-kville wrote: ↑Mon Aug 23, 2021 5:57 am At most on a poll I may get just over 30 people to vote. We have over 4300 users. I get that a bunch may be bots, but not that many. I go through the new members thread and see many with one or two posts. I'd like to more of the newer members participate. Did their bishop find out they registered here? Did they find out who some of us are in real life? Did I scare them away with endless food polls?
