This is worthwhile to listen to- he explained well in 2015 the reason we are where we are today with Iran-
I found it fascinating- (some are calling it prophetic but I won’t go that far)
Marco Rubio Called it in 2015
Re: Marco Rubio Calked it in 2015
I would think this would be better posted under politics.
Let me ask you, how would you react to a video of someone, a democrat saying that Pres Trump canceling the agreement with Iran caused today. Would you find that offensive or political?

The problem with this video, I think, is that the JCPOA required a level of inspection of Iran’s nuclear facilities that was unprecedented. No other country had ever agreed to that degree of monitoring.
Once the U.S. withdrew from the agreement, we lost that inspection regime. At that point the main tools left were sanctions, threats, and coercive pressure.
I don’t see how withdrawing from the JCPOA made the United States more secure. If anything, it seems to have reduced transparency about Iran’s nuclear program while increasing the likelihood of confrontation. Now we find ourselves deeply entangled in a Middle East conflict that is drawing in other countries. And I don't know how we get out.

1. Are we discussing the topic? Good.
2. Are we going around and around in a fight? Let's stop doing that.
3. Is there some serious wrongdoing or relational injury? Let's address that, probably not in public and certainly not for show.

The preferred spelling is caulked, and the material is more properly referred to as sealant. That stuff doesn't last forever, you know.Marco Rubio Calked it in 2015

He must be more into home repair than I would have guessed. Good caulking can make a big difference.ohio jones wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2026 2:12 pmThe preferred spelling is caulked, and the material is more properly referred to as sealant. My main appreciation is his understanding of the entire situation and the “ideology” that few seem to really understand.
Besides that, there has been quite a few videos showing lately of the same Democrats that are criticizing what’s happening now as stating these things had to be done before and so it is only because President Trump actually did something about it that they are spewing. I find it extremely hypocritical on their part.

I agree - if people evaluate the same thing differently when Trump does it, that's pure partisanship, not principle. In either direction.Valerie wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2026 3:49 pmBesides that, there has been quite a few videos showing lately of the same Democrats that are criticizing. Seems like the same people who criticized Iraq and other mid-East aggression then are criticizing Iran now. For the same reasons. At least some of them.

For all this a simple correction could have been made but that wouldn’t be nearly as fun or entertaining.barnhart wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2026 3:41 pmHe must be more into home repair than I would have guessed. Looks like it was done inside. Typically that only lasts 5-10 years. It’s been about 11 years. So may be time to recalk.ohio jones wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2026 2:12 pmThe preferred spelling is caulked, and the material is more properly referred to as sealant.
